These
Hornet's Nest riders received special recognition
for their finish in the ABA NC State Championship
Series. Each ABA track holds a State Championship Qualifier
race and riders accumulate State points at each event towards the
championship. The last race in the series is the State
Finals event where (after the conclusion of the
race) points are tabulated and the winners crowned. Typically,
the winners receive a special plaque or trophy, a book bag
(backpack), and a #1 State plate.
